Reporting to Manager, Marketing, the candidate will work closely with Associate Manager, Marketing, Local Activation Team. This Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing, implementing, and reporting marketing activation initiatives focusing on Hong Kong market.
He or she will assist the team to plan and execute both campaign-based and always-on projects primarily on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Other regional social platform experience will be a bonus including but not limited to Tik Tok, Douyin, Wechat, Red etc.
He/She will also work closely with different internal and external stakeholders on implementation and execution of integrated marketing communication plan and materials with the objective of delivering strategic communication platform, creative assets for through-the-line campaign (included by not limited to ATL, BTL, digital, social, event, CRM) efficiently, ensuring quality in deliverables and alignment with the overall strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
Activation plan implementation with agencies management
- Fully understanding the business and market needs and developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand and campaign awareness and engagement.
- Manage and curate content across all social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging
- Being an active and fast learner to adapt the brand guideline and apply to the content and assets.
- Briefing and managing agencies and vendors and making the social plan and activations come to life
- Working closely among marketing teams and different LOBs with strong communication skills
- Monitoring the performance of social channels and sharing the latest trends and news with the team
Extensive creative services provision
- Liaising with local Hong Kong market team on creative needs and to identify advertising requirements.
- Briefing internal creative team/external agencies and closely working with them on the execution of the creative plan/material requisition and to ensure all materials are delivered with quality and on time.
- Presenting creative work to local market team to obtain approval from them and respective executives.
- Liaising with, and acting as the link between, local Hong Kong market team and internal creative team/ agencies by maintaining regular contact to ensure that communication flows effectively.
- Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of creative campaign.
Communication materials consistency
- Act as brand guardian to non-marketing business units to ensure all communication materials carries consistent Disney style and within brand guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing management or relevant disciplines
- Min. of 4 years of working experience in developing content and managing social media campaigns, with experience in China as a plus
- Solid knowledge in content creation, assessment development with analytical sense to evaluate campaign effectiveness
- Independent and high organizational skills to work under fast-paced environments to deliver high quality work
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with excellent story-telling and presentation skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English
