About the Role:
Star Sports is the leading sports broadcaster in India. It offers a wide variety of sports content, broadcasting all major sports events such as IPL, ICC, Premier League, Pro Kabaddi, Wimbledon etc. Star Sports has redefined sports broadcasting in India with extensive cricket coverage, including domestic and international matches. It also offers several regional channels in different languages to cater to the diverse linguistic audience in India. We serve high quality content to millions of customers with world class technology and production. Analytics plays a key role in the world of sports broadcast across live matches, shows and non-live programming. Disney Star has been the pioneer in data-driven storytelling in the world of sports broadcast. The Live Analytics Manager will be working with the Executive Producers to lead and drive the analytics-based stories across Live & Beyond Live Programming.

Context:
Analytics department plays a key role in deciding the narratives of the match broadcast, live and surround shows. Analytics producers are required to work in unison with multiple other partners. The Live Analytics Manager will lead and drive the Analytics Producers to collaborate with other stakeholders within the Product Team.

Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee the identification, conceptualisation, producing and packaging of analytical stories on for all matches, live shows, and the surround shows.
•Lead Senior Producers to deliver high quality content across live & beyond live programming.
•Ideate and plan content & analytical editorial thrust for the various series/tournaments in advance.
•Lead the development of analytical sports editorial acumen to storytelling across properties.
•Oversee to ensure the identification and preparation of archival overlays for the upcoming series/events.
•Collaborate and drive synergies with all key cross-functions & partners in the internal and external editorial & production eco-system.
•Ensure that the Product across Live & Non-Live is of supreme quality that resonates with the target audience.

Performance Measures:
•Success of the production through consumption measures, not restricted to TVR & TSV ratings alone.

Qualifications:
•Graduate with previous experience in a similar profile (12 to 14 years)
•Excellent communications skills in Hindi and English
•Demonstrated capabilities as a manager of both people and projects with a keen focus on execution, detail, and deadlines.
•Proven understanding of studio production processes and workflows
•Exceptional organisational skills, planning, and project management skills
•Deep knowledge of the sports, both at domestic and international level
