Senior Manager – Mid-Market Sales

Job Summary-
As a Regional Lead, you will be managing a team within the South region and drive the identified goals via market intelligence and innovative ideas to position Disney+ Hotstar as a choice of platform for your portfolio of clients within the region. Within the region, you will act as one of the primary advocates of Disney+ Hotstar executing a GTM plan that will lead us to meet our clients’ objectives and our revenue targets. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate the team to meet their goals. You will use an analytical approach to sales management.
About the team-
The Mid-Market Ad sales team caters to the large, mid-tier and emerging clients across categories and works closely with them to solve their marketing goals through custom solutions on Disney+ Hotstar. Our team works closely with the clients to understand their business and marketing goals and then provide solutions across the vast landscape of the Disney+ Hotstar ads ecosystem, which work for the client and also help secure ad revenues for Disney+ Hotstar as a platform. Wide client coverage and deep client extraction are both equally important.
Reporting To – Regional Head, Mid-Market Sales

Key Responsibilities-

  • Develop and drive a GTM plan including research, developing case studies, public speaking opportunities that are relevant to the region and clients
  • Owning and driving activation, adoption and sales of Disney+ Hotstar across the client portfolio and strategizing on business plan focused on new business development for the regional market
  • In this role, you will own the revenue targets for the Key accounts for Disney+ Hotstar ads solutions
  • You will be Disney+ Hotstar’s ambassador in the region for the accounts you own You will be expected to understand the Digital ecosystem, be abreast with industry analytics and be on top of industry trends for the accounts you own
  • Develop scalable solutions for clients to optimize their usage of Disney+ Hotstar products
  • Map, develop and grow the key decision makers and influencers in the region and leverage Disney+ Hotstar’s unique audience insights and content offerings to drive revenue growth
  • Manage and lead a high-performing sales team, emphasizing strategic thinking and client relationship management to drive ad sales revenue from MM clients in the region
  • Create and manage sales goals and objectives for your sales team, emphasizing both immediate client activation and sustained long-term growth
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments, providing tailored solutions to address client challenges and ensure long-term satisfaction
  • You will be responsible for end-to-end management of all stakeholder relationships
  • In this role, you will work closely with the internal sales strategy team, and internal agency team for the conceptualization & execution of long-term deals for your accounts

Skills & Attributes for success-

  • Understanding Key account management principles / consultative selling will be an added advantage
  • Should be both a category & a brand builder with a strong ability to drive and achieve sales targets
  • Comfort to use data and analytics while building on client conversations
  • Concise yet inspiring communicator
  • Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network, and have effective negotiations, and utilizing these to drive new business
  • Persistence to drive sales from exploration to deal closures
  • Ability to lead teams and drive revenue targets through effective leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Abreast of current and upcoming trends among brands and the industry

Preferred Education & Experience-

  • MBA with10-12 years of total experience with 4-5 years in team management across sales, business development, account management and client relationship management with an understanding of digital sales background.
