Disney Advertising Platforms is responsible for delivering global adverting technology solutions for Disney brands, channels, and streaming services. With unmatched scale, premium content and innovative capabilities, Disney Advertising Platforms is a market leader in advertising. We build and maintain the advertising systems and integrations that are vital to maintaining a best-in-class video advertising business.

The Business Development & Partnerships function is responsible for the partnerships strategy that enables Disney’s Advertising business to extend and accelerate our market leadership position, drive transformation in the advertising industry, and monetize premium content across the world’s best suite of intellectual property.

As a Market Analyst in the Disney Advertising Platforms organization, you will be part of the team tasked with redefining TV advertising. This is a high-profile role that is critical to the success of the Business Development & Partnerships function within the Advertising Platform team. You will be responsible for gathering, collating, reviewing, and presenting valuable market analysis and data.

You will perform extensive industry, market, and company research, track market and competitor activity, and evaluate technology partners. This role will also be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of methodologies, models, and analytical frameworks used to assess partnership deals, and performing high-impact analysis to be incorporated into presentations for executive leadership. As such, some experience in digital media, digital advertising, advertising technology or related industries is highly preferred but not required.

You will also assist in the technology and distribution deals process and ensure that all deals are structured to adhere to Disney Advertising Platforms objectives, including pricing, technology integration, and data/privacy terms. We are looking for a candidate with strong business analysis experience, possessing both quantitative and qualitative skills, whose approach is grounded in data, insights, and a thorough understanding of business requirements and strategy.


  • Perform market, industry, and company-focused research and analysis that will be collated and presented to executive leadership team
  • Own the end-to-end process of weekly and periodic reporting on advertising technology market activity, including competitor activity and industry trend analysis
  • Conduct financial modeling to evaluate and understand market activity, potential opportunities, partnership deal economics, commercial terms and conditions, and operational requirements for deals
  • Work collaboratively across different functions to understand and communicate business requirements, optimal position, business terms, and opportunity/risk analysis


  • BS/BA
  • 5+ years’ experience in a market research, business analysis, partnerships, financial analysis, consulting, investment banking or investment research role (experience in a market analysis or market research specific role highly desired)
  • Strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem
  • Able to solve complex and unique deal related issues
  • Understanding of revenue and expense drivers, and drivers of business value more broadly, particularly in an advertising and media business
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high quality work output
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g. nested formulas with index/match, etc), and expert-level PowerPoint skills
  • Capacity to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-moving industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, particularly the ability to present complex, detailed, nuanced information clearly and concisely
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working effectively with colleagues and leaders, both horizontally and vertically across a large organization
